East Herts Speakers

Do you need to deliver a wedding speech or important presentation? Want to improve your interview and networking skills, or be a more confident speaker so that you can persuade, motivate and inspire?

Our speakers club can help you develop confidence, communication and leadership skills in a fun and friendly environment.  We are a Toastmasters International club, our meetings are held  in person at the St. Andrew's Centre in Hertford. Members join our club from Hertfordshire, Essex, North London and beyond.  We meet on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month at 7:30 p.m for a 7:45 meeting start.

Our club's core values are

1. We are friendly. We see ourselves as a group of friends, always coming together for a chat after the meetings. Fun and socialising are important to us. We are a diverse mix of people from all ages and walks of life and welcome everybody.
2. We are supportive.  We want every member to  improve their public speaking and communication skills and learn to feel comfortable on stage. We take feedback, mentoring and celebrating success seriously.
3. We are inspiring. It is not just how, it is what we speak about publicly. The stories and speeches our members share expand our horizons and help us grow.
