Fellow Toastmasters and most welcomed guests.
My name is __________ and my role as a Quotemaster is to delivers an inspirational thought or message that it is positive or gives the audience something to think about.
My quote for this evening is:
EXAMPLE
“If you always do what you’ve always done, you will always get what you’ve always got”
WHAT IT MEANS TO YOU OR IN GENERAL
It is a bit unclear who has first came up with this quote, some people say it was Albert Einstein, other recall Henry Ford – but it doesn’t really matter – the meaning is the same
The quote means to me that if you always do the usual you won’t get to where you want to go. You should try new things and adventures, things that scare you out to get more knowledge that will help you to go bigger and be more successful. to go where you have never been before and surprise yourself with what you have achieved
This is what me, you and everyone in this room are doing. we are trying, pushing and challenging ourselves. We learn and grow I want you to remember this every time you do something new
REPEAT THE QUOTE
“If you always do what you’ve always done, you will always get what you’ve always got”
Hand back to the Toastmaster of the evening by extending your arm out and saying ‘Toastmaster’.
