We had very witty meeting last night with brilliant speeches, entertaining jokes and many guests!
Stuart delivered his Icebreaker and it was about Glossophobia – the fear of public speaking. Stuart shared his experience of delivering best man’s speech in front of 200 people! His speech had great structure delivered with lots of humour and confidence.
Maria also delivered her Icebreaker. Maria took us back to the time when she was 18 years old and described joyful and difficult events of her life. The speech was emotional but delivered with lots of humour and enthusiasm.
Paul our last speaker delivered a speech on Leadership. Paul described his journey as a leader, took us through his learnings and leadership style. Paul’s delivery was exceptional and he kept everyone captivated throughout the speech.
Our best speaker award went to Maria, our best evaluator was Chris H. and our best Table Topics speaker was Felix – one of our guests!
Additionally, we were happy to hear that one of our guests Derek, decided to join our club!

Last night we all took roles, we all practiced our public speaking skills and we all had fun. I cannot wait for the next meeting on 6th of August.
